Zoe Osama Drops “Mr. Nobody”- And Nobody's Safe {Album Review}

Updated: Aug 28, 2025

The glass slipper may be off, but my pyn is down— let’s get into it.

Album cover of Mr. Nobody by Zoe Osama
Yeah, Zoe.

This is a PYNN’d News’ exclusive review of Zoe Osama’s Mr. Nobody, straight from the private album listening in Burbank. Jag on the Beat's studio was filled with some of LA’s most respected tastemakers and media voices, including Jayson Cash, Chuck Dizzle, Yoshi Vintage, Corrie Renee, Cece Valencia, and more.

Sunlit Media captured the night through the lens, and the energy was nothing short of iconic.

South Central’s own Zoe Osama is back, and this time, he’s not playing nice. Mr. Nobody drops August 14th, 2025 at 9pm EST and if you thought his last project From the Eastside with Love had the streets buzzing, this one might just crash your Bluetooth speaker.

Zoe’s not new to this—he’s been carrying LA gangsta rap on his back with that uncut, no-chaser storytelling. But Mr. Nobody feels different. It’s 20 tracks deep, laced with features that make you go, Oh, he’s serious-serious. We’re talking Ab-Soul, Kalan.FrFr, Lefty Gunplay, Seddy Hendrinx—plus some fresh faces who are ready to talk their talk.

Shoutout to Cristal VVS for mixing the hell out of these tracks from the beginning to the very end... literally, down to the last few hours before the album was turned in to Empire. And, last but not least, Bryan Sallis, Zoe's manager and executive producer of this album, earned his first producer credits for arranging Celebrate. Also, shoutout to Bryan for keeping Role Call on the project as an ode to Zoe's big homies. It seriously tied in the West Coast sound and gave us a cool gangsta boogie joint for the cookouts.

A Quick Roll Call of Heat: Let's get into my FAVES!!!!!

Party On The East Cide Pt. 2 —

Jayson Cash, P1, and Ab-Soul pull up like it’s block party season.

I really like this one. I listened to it about 15 times before I moved on to the next song.

"I got ya baby mama poppin' it to Underrated."

How You Like Me Now

Noname Newfriends

"Word on the streets, Zoe Osama still jiggin'" is literally STUCKIN MY BRAIN!

Crash Out — This record makes me want to do 200 on my dash, spazz tf out and hit my Thizz... feels like E-40 should be on it.

I’m HimDem Jointz

Although I had been listening to this song for days in my car, it quickly became my favorite when l heard it blaring through the speakers in the studio.

"They said I couldn't do it... Why not?

They said I can't do it... How not?"

"Who is you?

Nigga, what?

Why should I give a phuck?"

Princess Treatment — K2icyy and Kalan.FrFr are giving the ladies something to play in the car with the seat reclined.

I'm actually gonna ask bae to take me to Mulholland and kiss me with it playng... that's this kind of record.

"I'm a bad b*tch, got to treat me like it.

I'm a princess (Pynnderella), let's go be exotic."

Turn You On — CDK VYBEZ

At first, I thought it was a YG 'Do it to ya' sample, it isn't, but it gives me the same addiction I had to that song, hella Summers ago. It's been on repeat.

"You look good in the moonlight."

"Hold on, aye, let me get it.

One time, let me hit it."

Soul Food— Soul Food is definitely for the ladies. It's always the first song I play when I listen to Mr. Nobody.

"I ain't nothin' what you used to

Good nigga,

Plus, it's good like Soul Food.

A lot of shit I wanna say if you only knew.

When I think about it, if you only knew."

"If a nigga go away, I'll love you always."

Role Call — This record is so West Coast! I feel like Ashley Imani should hit her spyn on the skates to this one. Makes me wanna glide for sure.

"On my kids, on my soul, I stand tall

Man, I know these niggas pray that I fall

On the gang, young nigga role call"

Celebrate (Outro) — Traetwothree helping Zoe end things on a toast-worthy note.

This isn’t just a playlist—it’s an LA diary with bass. The kind that moves your steering wheel when you’re stopped at a red light. Zoe’s mind is still sharp (I heard he doesn’t even write anything, how cool is that?), his flow still unbothered, and the beats still smell like warm concrete and palm trees.

And yes, he brought back some “Pt. 2” joints, which is either bold or reckless—but if anyone can make a sequel feel like the main event, it’s Zoe.

Why This Matters:

Zoe Osama is one of the few who can balance radio-ready hooks with lyrics that would make your cousin from Crenshaw nod in approval. He’s not here to play the

“chart game”—he’s here to tell it how it is, and Mr. Nobody is proof that the streets still set the tone.

So, when August 15 hits (in LA), don’t just listen to Mr. Nobody. Play it loud. Play it in traffic. Play it so the neighbor who never says hi finally knocks on your door to ask, “Who is that?”

CONGRATS, ZOE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our exclusive PYNN’d News interview drops later at 7:17 pm so stay tuned for his words of wisdom and a few cool updates on his journey.

Holler.
